[Ruby turns her Fluid to give Blake a better look at the underwater facility Ruby had found herself in. Taking a moment to focus on a sign that said Rapture before pointing at the glass ceiling keeping them contained from the water and see life outside.]

Someplace called Rapture by the looks of it. There are some signs around mentioning a party a couple months ago but I haven't seen anyone native to the place yet.

Gives me a serious case of the creeps.

How did they...? [ now that has her attention. she leans in, curiously, looking at the glass. ]

Looks like something went bad down there. Have you seen Weiss?

Yeah. There... There are a lot of bodies and things that just don't look right down here. There are a bunch of people who wound up here after escaping the ship. I guess we're all called "Sleepers?" Well some of them are forming up camps until we find out what's going on.

I haven't seen her yet, but I'm going to start looking around for food and supplies for everyone. I've sent her message and I'm going to keep an eye out for her. ...If she didn't end up with you too then she's probably down here with me.

At least I hope so.

I've heard some of the people in town say Sleepers, too.

[ her brows knit a little at that. ]

You'll find her. And if you've got each other's backs down there, it'll probably be okay. We'll try to see if we can help from up here.

Okay. Good to know we've got the lingo around town right. Still I kind of wish we were all having a more friendly dream together.

[She puts on a confident smile. Not wanting to see her teammate worry about her.]

Of course. We've been through enough together that all of this will be a piece of cake. That'd be great. Even if you can't just try and check in with us every once awhile? If we all keep tabs on each other we have a better chance of knowing what's going on if things get dicey.

[ she nods, making a humming sound in agreement. ]

[She knows there isn't anyone that makes her sister light up like Blake does. She doesn't want to jump to conclusions but she has an idea where this is going.]

Yeah, we kind of had to set up a fire pit and start grilling to make anything edible.

At the very least that'll save any damage to the kitchen itself. ...Unless she set up the fire pit in the kitchen. She didn't do that did she?

No, no, back yard. I set it up because it's the only way I know how to cook. White Fang, remember?

[ wow!!!! yang props her head on blake's shoulder, the least effective scowl imaginable on her face. yes, she was basically five feet away and listening the entire time. ]

Of course, of course. I mean even if your cooking was that bad and I'm not saying it is. But mine isn't much better. Ren did most of the cooking when we were going through mistral.

[There's a pause as something dawns on her.]

Wait... Does that mean none of us can cook? Weiss has to be able to, right?

[ blake just sort of pats yang's head, a sort of yes dear gesture. the red string on her finger is clearly apparent. to answer ruby: ]

I'm not sure she can. She had staff, remember? I know how that goes. [ an image of an estate house with tropical trees visible nearby flashes to yang. ]

So she might be able to grill something but that's about it, huh?

So first order of business when we get back together might need to be taking some cooking lessons.

Until then let's just hope that either Ren, Jaune, or Uncle Qrow show up.
