[ it's been a great night so far, even if she's mostly been wallflowering and nursing drinks over the course of things. she's danced with yang a few times, which has been the highlight. the boozy eggnog had been great, and she'd moved onto a less rich drink after.
then, her umetini goes flying, and that's... kind of irritating. but honestly, seeing qrow go to the trouble to try to make it right does a lot to counteract her annoyance over it. accidents happen, regardless of whether background activity from a semblance causes the spark.
blake hasn't exactly talked to qrow very much since she arrived back in town; there have been other things to attend to. still, if ruby and yang are family, if she sees any kind of future with yang...
